This research is under the guidance of Mrs. Dr. Dina Destari, M.Pd as the first advisor, and Mrs. Sitti Hadijah, M.Pd as the second advisor. Language acquisition is a way of humans to communicate their sentiments and understanding to others. It begins with vision and hearing, which are stored in our brain and digested so that we may express our thoughts as well as feelings to others. Understandings of people’s feelings and thoughts by associating events, rewards and punishments known as classical conditioning Also by observation and imitation. It refers to the process by which children produced their language acquisition in order to be able to communicate to their surroundings. Moreover to acquire the capacity to perceive and comprehend language and learn to speak their native language proficiently. This research used a descriptive qualitative method. The subject of this research was a nine-year-old kid in Samarinda named Malaeka. The data were collected by interview and observation, then analyzed using the Interactive Model of Bertaria, Yosep, and Dadjowidjojo. The data were validated using source and technical triangulation. Based on the result, the researcher found that language acquisition of Malaeka Charmangia Airys Jasmine as a nine-year-old kid was built by variety routines that she had been done since she was three years old. Started by watching English cartoons, practicing speaking English with her family member such as parents and her aunt Ina, and reading English book. Malaeka had enough sources improving English skills by her surroundings.
