Language is a human tool to communicate with each other. In essence, when communicating there is must be a reciprocal relationship, therefore the researcher wants to examine the reciprocal relationship in conversation, namely by looking for the type of conversation and the type used when communicating. In this case, the researcher focused on finding the types of implicature used in Feel the Beat movie. From the two types of implicature, researcher focused more on conversational implicature for this study. Back to the notion of implicature itself is the speaker's meaning factor that determines what aspect is meant in a sentence, then in the conversational implicature of the speaker speech, what the speaker wants to say is significantly more complex than what he actually says. The researcher revealed linguistic meaning which was initially determined by the type of conversational implicature and the type of maxim used in the conversation as well as the content of meaning in the speaker's utterance and how the listener understands it. The data collection technique was qualitative research. Qualitative research used documents, pictures, and observations to describe and analyze. In this study, the researcher got data about conversational implicatures from the Feel the Beat movie. Feel the Beat movie was taken as a source because this film contains utterances involving teachers and students in accordance with the researcher's goal to continue to bring education in her research even though studied is a film. The results obtained from this research were that in Feel the Beat movie the types of conversational implicature encountered were Generalized Implicature and Particulized Implicature, there were twenty-nine implicature utterances which were the utterances of several characters in the film. The types of conversational implicatures obtained from this film include nineteen data in generalized conversational implicatures and ten data in particulized conversational implicatures. It is hoped that this research can be a reference in studying conversational implicatures, especially to provide a deeper understanding of implicature as a part of pragmatic studies in the field of linguistics and it may also provide more references and further consideration for language students in their studies in their communication.
