This thesis was under guidance Dr. H. Mukhammad Ilyasin, M. Pd as the first advisor and Dr. Robingatin, M. Ag as the second advisor.
In this globalization era, if not careful it will be affected by the noise of information flows from any world that can make the young generation especially students can easily absorb information and culture from other countries, this is where Nation character is needed because if the nation's character is not strong then globalization will protect the current generation, can even eliminate a character, one of the characters discipline. To fortify the young generation, especially the students not to be guided by the current globalization then it is necessary to build a strong discipline character from the school or college. The purpose of this research is to find out how the character discipline building of students at International Class Program of IAIN Samarinda and any factors affecting the discipline.
In this research researcher use qualitative descriptive research. The data sources in this study were students of the second International Class Program and manager of International Class Program. The data collection techniques in this study are  interview,  observation  and  documentation. Data analysis techniques using the analysis of Miles and Huberman.
The research showed that 10 people from 15 people increased discipline after  entering  KKI  and  the  remaining  5  people  decreased  in  discipline  after entering KKI. The supporting factors of discipline are: self, friends, family, lecturers, and motivation from others. While the inhibitory factors of discipline are: residence environment, there is no fixed supervisor, lack of rest and less able to manage time.
The conclusion of this research is; character discipline building of International Class Program students‟ in accordance it was expected by the manager,  proved  with  the  result  that  10  out  of  15  students  experienced  a disciplined increased after entering KKI.</note>
